Responsibilities of the Project & Engineering Lead:
McLane Advanced Technologies (MAT) is seeking a Project & Engineering Lead responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and tracking all project and engineering tasks and deliverables in support of the ADCNOMS contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing IT engineering projects within the DoD environment, ensuring all solutions align with Army enterprise standards and objectives.

The Project & Engineering Lead will:

• Oversee and manage all project and engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders on engineering matters.
• Manage the execution of common support requirements and unique engineering deliverables.
• Ensure proper system integration, software development, and deployment processes.
• Track engineering project milestones, risk mitigation strategies, and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, RMF, and QA Leads to ensure a seamless integration of engineering processes into operational environments.
• Conduct technical reviews, lifecycle analysis, and system documentation updates.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring best practices in system architecture and cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT project management and engineering within a DoD or Army environment.
• Expertise in systems engineering, software development, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Proficiency with engineering and project management tools, including Microsoft Project, JIRA, and eMASS.
• Active Secret clearance (Top Secret Preferred).
• PMP or ITIL v4 certification. (Preferred)
• Experience with NETCOM, Army C3T, or enterprise IT environments. (Preferred)
• Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, and network engineering. (Preferred)
