Responsibilities of the Operations Lead:
McLane Advanced Technologies (MAT) is seeking a highly skilled Operations Lead to oversee, coordinate, and track all operational tasks and deliverables in support of the ADCNOMS contract. The Operations Lead will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of common support requirements, as well as unique deliverables associated with operations capabilities and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of Army IT operations, and extensive experience managing complex technical projects within a DoD environment.
The Operations Lead will:
- Oversee and coordinate all operational support tasks, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and government expectations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between MAT and government stakeholders for all operational matters.
- Track and manage all deliverables related to operations, ensuring timely submission and compliance with contract performance metrics.
- Execute and manage common support requirements.
- Direct unique deliverables associated with operations capabilities and services.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and compliance reports.
- Participate in key operational meetings, briefings, and working groups, providing expert input on technical and procedural matters.
- Ensure operational readiness, system sustainment, and workforce continuity by implementing best practices in incident response, change management, and compliance monitoring.
- Manage personnel performance, workload distribution, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations.
- Work closely with the Site Program Lead, Project & Engineering Lead, RMF Lead, and QA Manager to maintain a seamless operational framework.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to cybersecurity policies, operational security measures, and Army-specific IT governance frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT operations management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role supporting DoD contracts.
- Strong knowledge of Army enterprise IT environments, cybersecurity frameworks, and operational procedures.
- Experience managing large-scale IT service delivery in compliance with DoD, NETCOM, and Army directives.
- Proficiency in IT service management tools such as ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise-level platforms.
- Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF), ITIL processes, and Configuration Management best practices.
- Active Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred).
- PMP or ITIL v4 certification. (Preferred)
- Experience working within Army C3T, NETCOM, or other Army enterprise programs. (Preferred)
- Hands-on experience with cloud, hybrid, and virtualized IT environments. (Preferred)
- Ability to develop and present executive-level briefings and reports. (Preferred)
