As a Java developer you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reliable Java code. The Software Engineer will have:
- Self-motivated, Java professional with proven experience. Flexible, team-player.
- Highly skilled at debugging and resolving issues in existing Java based Applications.
- Strong knowledge of messaging services, such as Active MQ.
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases such as MSSQL, MongoDB, and REDIS.
- Working knowledge of Eclipse, Visual Studio, Maven, and GIT.
- Confident knowledge of XML, JSON, SQL, and ORM.
- Familiarity with caching, threading, and synchronization concepts.
- Strong working knowledge of software architecture and design/re-design experience especially in multi-threaded applications.
- Familiarity with .NET and C#.
- Familiarity with LINUX and Windows systems.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical field, plus 6 years of related experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing development and support for Java based applications.
- Experience with common software configuration tools such as GIT and Subversion.
- A past record of working effectively and collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally, and in writing.
- Active DOD or DOE Security Clearance
