Job Title: ServiceNow Architect

Responsibilities of the ServiceNow Architect
EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking a remote ServiceNow Architect to support the design, implementation, and innovation of ServiceNow HRSD solutions for enterprise and federal clients. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in ServiceNow architecture and design to provide strategic and technical leadership, drive the successful delivery of HRSD implementations, and ensure the alignment of solutions with customer requirements and business goals. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in solution design, stakeholder engagement, and roadmap development, with a deep understanding of HRSD and related technologies.

The ServiceNow Architect will:
  • Review and analyze security risks in software scans provided by customers.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments of applications through code reviews and vulnerability assessments.
  • Analyze security scan results to identify vulnerabilities and security risks; validate false positives as reported by customers.
  • Collaborate with development teams to promote secure coding practices and to address security findings effectively.
  • Engage directly with Customer Relationship Managers, Customers, and Customer System Integrators to communicate security issues and collaborate on mitigation strategies.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents related to applications in conjunction with the incident response team.
  • Develop and refine application security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in designing integrations, interfaces, and data models.
  • 5+ years of experience architecting and designing ServiceNow HRSD solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience creating roadmaps for technical offering growth and innovation.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills, with 8+ years of experience in oral and written communications.
  • Understanding of other HR technologies (e.g., PeopleSoft HCM, Cornerstone).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology and willingness to mentor teams in Agile practices.
  • Experience working with federal agencies, understanding their requirements, workflows, and compliance standards.
  • Strong understanding of integration architecture and security considerations.
  • ServiceNow HRSD Certification preferred.
  • Active DOD Clearance or ability to obtain.
